Hip Hop superstar Jay Z is reportedly interested in buying a stake in Arsenal Football Club.

The rapper has apparently been holding talks with the club about purchasing a large share in the club and injecting some of his huge wealth into the team.

Today’s Sunday Mirror reports that he originally approached Roman Abramovich’s Chelsea but was turned down and instead turned his sights on their London rivals.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that Jay Z is about to bring his clothing line Roca Wear to the UK but not for him a trendy high street name but the housewives favourite BHS.

A source told this morning’s New Of The World: “Since he bought the business from Damon Dash, Jay wants to make it a household brand.”
