Long absent rapper Jay Electronica has released a new track featuring mentor Jay Z, entitled 'We Made It'. Listen below.
The long absent rapper made his return last week with the 'Better in Tune w the Finite' freestyle which saw him spit over Ryuichi Sakamoto’s ‘Bibo No Aozora’. This week sees him drop a new track with mentor Jay Z, hopefully meaning that his long awaited career moves will finally begin to take place.

The track itself is extremely confrontational, drawing parallels between black slavery and critics whilst maintaining the "we made it" mantra. It also features one of the hardest verses from Jay Z in years, due in part to subject matter of the track and the instrumental drawing out a great flow from the Hov.
