Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme and Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor discussed performing together on stage in a new joint interview for Australia's Triple J Radio.
QOTSA and NIN are curretnly down under where they are about to embark on a joint headline tour of Australia and New Zealand - with many fans hoping for a repeat of their collaboration mash-up that they performed together at the 2014 Grammy Awards (albeit, without being cut off for a commercial break).
Discussing the possibility, Homme said he wouldn't rule it out, but added that "the initial plan is for everyone to do their thing."
He continued: "So much of the time it sounds lovely to smash it all together. Let’s just start by everyone kicking their ass and doing their thing."

The bands will be supported by Homme's wife and Distillers turned solo star Brody Dalle. QOTSA and NIN released a statement saying that the headline band who play last each night will be decided 'on the toss of coin'.
Homme and Reznor have been friends for a number of years, after touring together before and working together on Dave Grohl's Sound City soundtrack. Reznor was also considered to produce QOTSA's latest album Like Clockwork, but ended up just lending backing vocals.
