Pharrell took to the stage at last night's Oscars ceremony to perform his No. 1 smash 'Happy', which was nominated in the Best Original Song category. Check out his performance below.

The musician and producer delivered a high octane rendition of the song, complete with a troupe of smiley dancers. Williams even ventured into the crowd to dance with Amy Adams and Lupita Nyong'o, and even shimmied with Meryl Streep.

Unfortunately for Pharrell, 'Happy' lost out in the Best Song category to Idina Menzel's track 'Let It Go' taken from the Disney film Frozen.

Meanwhile, U2 performed their Long Walk To Freedom track 'Ordinary Love', whilst Karen O and Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend performed 'The Moon Song', taken from Her.

'Happy', which was featured on animated comedy Despicable Me 2, is also taken from Pharrell's solo record G I R L, which is released today (March 3).
