Fugly shoes are in high demand, apparently

Kanye West's new Nike Air Yeezy 2 trainers went on sale this weekend, with all of the 'Red October' shoes selling out pretty quickly. Now you can find them on eBay for as much as £10million.

That's a lot of money for such hideous footwear, but there you go.

After the delay in releasing the sneakers forced Kanye to leave the brand to sign a new deal with Adidas, Nike put the shoes for sale online yesterday (Sunday 9 February 2014) without warning, before selling out within 15 minutes.

But don't despair - visit here to get bidding on a pair of your own for a measly £10million.

West famously took six minutes to complain about the way the brand treated him while performing a show of his Yeezus Tour last year at the Bridgestone arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

"Do you know who the head of Nike is?" asked Yeezy, prowling the stage. "No, well let me tell you who he is: His name is Mark Parker, and he just lost culture. Everyone at Nike, everyone at Nike, Mark Parker just let go of culture."

He continued, discussing his Nike Air Yeezy shoe design: "I'm talking directly to you. No miscommunication. Did you not want the Yeezys? Nike would make you believe it was my fault that you couldn't get them, but that was not the case. I wanted there to be as many Yeezys as there was LeBrons, and I wanted them to be at a good price, but that was not my choice, and we're going to change everything. And ... I'm going to create more than you think that any musician in the history of time ever could have."

Kanye was recently confirmed to headline this year's Wireless festival alongside Drake, Outkast, Bruno Mars, Pharrell and many more. Wireless takes place from July 4-6 at London's Finsbury Park and Birmingham's Perry Park. Tickets are on sale now. For tickets and more information, visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.
