In a rather bizarre turn, dubstep pioneer Skream has set his sights on The Smiths, choosing to remix 'This Charming Man'.
The track is a world apart from the producer's usual style, which borders on industrial with seminal tracks including 'Midnight Request Line' and 'Filth' - through to a recent move into disco. The remix is not a dance spin, and is more an accapella restructuring of the song over a piano track.
Posting on Soundcloud, Skream (real name) Ollie Jones wrote: "Did this yesterday.....This ones plagued with tags for the thieves... This isn't a dance track nor really a electronic track.... Just a piece of music I'm really happy with. Enjoy :-)".
