'Applause' star Lady Gaga has hit back at Azealia Banks after weeks of Twitter criticism from the rapper. See a video of Gaga's response below.

Banks was initially slated to appear on Lady Gaga's new album ARTPOP, her third studio release, on a track titled 'Ratchet'. She was later removed from the record. When Gaga announced that her iTunes Festival gig in London would have a mermaid theme, Azealia Banks lashed out at Lady Gaga, accusing her of being 'late' with her theme after she held a mermaid's ball in London in 2012. She eventually accused Gaga of being 'out of ideas' after a string of tweets about Lady Gaga and her career.

Now, during a recent performance on Good Morning America, Lady Gaga discussed Bank's backlash with fans, and stated that the 'ATM Jam' rapper has a bad attitude. Lady Gage can be seen discussing the rapper further, but fans' conversation drowns out the star.

Lady Gaga's Good Morning America performance was a Wizard Of Oz themed show, with Gaga dressed as both Dorothy and her fairy godmother during the performance, joined by dancers dressed as the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion and the Scarecrow. Check out her full US TV performance of 'Applause' below
