The leak of Jay-Z's latest album, Magna Carter Holy Grail, has caused demand for tickets to London's Wireless Festival to soar this week.

Fans of the Hov were sent into a frenzy last week when he dropped his new LP via a special app to one million users. Reaction to the record were mixed, but it's led to the demand for tickets to see Jay Z and wife Beyonce to skyrocket.

viagogo, the world’s largest ticket marketplace, has seen a 163% increase in searches for the festival, which is headlined by Jay Z and Justin Timberlake this weekend alongside Snoop Dogg, Frank Ocean and many more . The '99 Problems' rapper's wife Beyonce is also sure to dazzle the crowd at V Festival this August with fans keen on catching her in action following her unforgettable Mrs. Carter Show earlier this year.

However, King Jay Z takes the throne this summer with demand outstripping that for Queen Bey by 2:1, while other festivals, including T in the Park and Bestival, are still yet to sell out.

viagogo spokesperson Steve Roest said: “With both Wireless and V Festival selling out in record time, it’s clear which acts fans are most keen to see. Mr and Mrs Carter are driving the most demand for what will undoubtedly top the list of unmissable performances this summer.”
