The Killers' frontman Brandon Flowers has revealed that he plans to release another solo album follow the touring of the band's current LP, Battle Born.
Speaking to the NME while the Las Vegas four-piece gear up to headline Wembley Stadium this weekend, Flowers revealed his hopes to record the follow-up to his 2010 solo debut Flamingo.
"I'm definitely gonna do another solo record at some point," he said. "Flamingo wasn’t just me dipping my toes in the water. I really loved it. It was successful, and that helps, but I love those songs and I miss singing them. It wasn’t something I had totally planned on, but I’m always writing songs, and I think, or I hope, that I’m always gonna have that. So what else am I supposed to do with myself?"

The band's drummer Ronnie Vanucci also told the magazine that they had ecorded a new song with Anthony Gonzalez of M83, describing them as 'not just demos - real recordings'.
"I mean, you never know what it’s gonna be," he said. "But we have our engineer, and we’re working with a couple of surprise guests, in the producer capacity. Some of it is sounding really cool. We can be guilty of making things so ornate, and sometimes that’s a bad thing."
He continued: "So I always have conversations with Brandon about working from a smaller palate, simplifying things. If these new tracks develop a theme, a common thread, then that could be the start of something."
The Killers play London's Wembley Arena on Saturday 22 June, supported by Gaslight Anthem and James. For information visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.
