20 March, 2013: Girls Aloud have ended their career together after ten years at the top, saying farewell to fans after an emotional gig in Liverpool, the last of their Ten tour.
The group performed an emotional show, with tears flowing on stage as the last show of their Ten tour came to and end. Sarah Harding in particular seemed to be struggling with the emotion of the gig.
Shortly after the 'Beautiful Cause You Love Me' singers came offstage, a tweet was sent from the band's official account which read, "Dear Alouders, we just want to say from the bottom of our hearts Thank you!! This tour has been an amazing experience and the perfect chance to say thank you for being on this journey with us through a decade.
"It has far exceeded any of our dreams and we hope we are forever your inspiration and reminder that dreams really do glitter!! Your love and support will stay with us forever but we have now come to the end of our incredible time together . Love you lots."
