David Bowie has revealed additional details about new single 'The Stars (Are Out Tonight)' and his upcoming album, The Next Day, including a tracklisting.
The musical icon shared the single artwork a few days ago, hinting at a release date, but now it seems to be fully confirmed.
'The Stars (Are Out Tonight)' is set to be released on Tuesday 26 February, which is two weeks before The Next Day.
The artwork features a black and white photo of a sculpture - in keeping with the minimalist theme visible on the album art.
The Next Day is set to be released in the UK on 11 March, and will be released in three different formats - CD, vinyl and digital.
There will also be a deluxe edition, which will have three bonus tracks, and a Japanese Blu-Spec which will have four extra songs.
Three of the songs will also be featured in the upcoming David Bowie - Five Years film, which will air on the BBC and examines five years of Bowie's life: 1971, 1975, 1977, 1980 and 1983.
The artwork for the new single is sculptor Al Farrow's 1990 rendering of the painter Egon Schiele
