Jessie J has revealed she will not be back for a second series of The Voice UK, with fellow judge Tom Jones only agreeing to return if he can have final say over which stars join the 2013 series as judges.
This could see a new look panel for the second series of the BBC show, which will be looking to improve on the low ratings scored during the latter stages of the first series when it aired earlier this year.
With a 2013 UK headline tour already announced, it is perhaps unsurprising that Jessie J will not be back. Reports of backstage diva behaviour did not help matters either.
In fact, it seems that staff on the show will not be sad to see the back of her with one insider telling the Mirror how: “Jessie J is only young. I hope in a few years she looks back on the way she behaved during the show and cringes.”
Meanwhile, Sir Tom Jones has expressed his desire to come back, but only if he knows in advance who he will be judging alongside.
"I think I will do another series. We are talking about it now. But there are a couple of things that need to be ironed out," he told Metro.
"One of the things I said I need to know is who the other coaches are, because I don’t want to be sitting there with somebody that I don’t admire or particularly like... there are a few of them! Hopefully, we will have the same four coaches."
Leanne Mitchell won the first series of The Voice this year but subsequently failed to crack the top 40 with her first official single.
