Leona Lewis premiered a new, dubstep influenced track, during her Sunday slot at this year's Hackney Weekend. Listen to the new song below.

The track, 'Come Alive', is a dark slice of moody electronic pop, with echoes of the sound of hotly tipped UK singer Delilah. The track showcases Leona's vocals and still bares enough hallmarks of a ballad to find favour with her X Factor fanbase. The track is something of a success, but is sure to anger dubstep and dance purists, who are unlikely to take well to a reality TV show winner experimenting with these dark sounds.

"So this next song is a new song from my next album," said Leona to the Hackney audience. "It's called 'Come Alive' and it's the first time i've performed it, so gimme some love guys!"

The track is taken from Leona's third album, 'Glassheart', which has been delayed since the 2011 'flop' of her comeback track 'Collide'. The dance track, which landed Leona's record label in legal problems with DJ Avicii for allegedly sampling his track 'Penguin' without permission.
