Leanne Mitchell, the first ever winner of The Voice in the UK, has failed to chart with her debut single, only reaching No.45 with her single, 'Run To You'.
The singer struggled in the midweek charts, reaching No.27, but in today's new Top 40, her Whitney Houston cover version, 'Run To You' is nowhere to be seen. Other artists to have placed poorly with their debut release include former X Factor contestant Aiden Grimshaw, whose 'Is This Love' single scrapes into the chart at No.35.
At the other end of the chart, Gary Barlow claims the No.1 singles spot, making the chart double - as he is also No.1 in the album chart. Flo Rida is new at No.2 with his latest release 'Whistle' while new singles from Usher and DJ Fresh enter at No.5 and 6 respectively.
The highest new entry on the album chart is Kylie Minogue's latest greatest hits collection, 'The Best Of' which is new at No.11.
