Simian Mobile Disco have said that they are keen to work on more pop production in the future, saying the current charts are 'hard to listen to' at the moment.
The electronic duo, who released their new album 'Unpatterns' this week, have worked with the likes of Florence + The Machine and Klaxons in the pas as well as producing Beth Ditto's solo EP in 2011.
"We actually made that EP in five days - that includes writing, mixing and producing. It couldn't have been much quicker! It was really fun," James Ford told Digital Spy.
Adding: "We're going to try and do more - there was talk of a full album at some point, we've just got to pin her down. On a personal level, it was a lot of fun and we were really pleased with it."
Admitting that they want to do more work like they did with Ditto, Ford continyed: "Pop production is something we're looking to get back into. I'll admit I'm really struggling to listen to Radio 1 at the moment. I love the new Santigold song, maybe something with her would be great."
