Details of four warm up concerts Blur are set to perform before their Hyde Park show this Summer have been revealed today, (May 13).
The band, led by lead singer Damon Albarn, will headline a massive Olympic closing concert in London on August 12th and will reportedly play four intimate warm-up gigs in early August before the big London gig.
Wolverhampton Civic Hall's official website has, today, revealed details of two dates that the band will play on August 5,6 with shows at Margate Winter Gardens and Plymouth Pavillions also rumoured.
A post on the official Blur Facebook page had hinted at the news asking: "You around early August? Sign up at Blur.co.uk and we'll mail you Tuesday morning." It seems that the official venue sites have leaked the news by accident.
A fans only pre-sale will see some tickets available at 9am on Wednesday 16th May with the general on sale tickets made available on Friday 18th.
