Scottish soul sensation Emeli Sande has premiered the video for her fourth solo single, 'My Kind Of Love'.

Entering ballad territory following the nineties drum and bass sounds of first two singles 'Heaven' and 'Daddy' and the pounding pop soul of 'recent Top Ten single 'Next To Me', her latest release is a sombre release from the talented star.

Featuring a storyline featuring a sick friend, the concept of the track and the video comes from the time Sande spent at medical school in Glasgow.

“During my time studying medicine, I found it hard to write, but one of the things that inspired  me were the patients and the interaction that they had with their loved ones during their time of illness," says Emeli of the track. "When people arrived at the hospital, money and status became irrelevant and only health mattered, which sparked an honesty between people which was amazing to see.

"This interaction, declaration of support and love, was the inspiration for ‘My Kind Of Love’ and something I wanted to portray in the video the track."
