 
 Katy Perry has criticised fame and being famous, saying it disgusts her.
The very famous pop star made the comments in Teen Vogue, saying that she no longer pays attention to what other people think about her. 
"Fame is just a disgusting by-product of what I do," said the 'Part Of Me' star. 
Adding: "It can love you, and then it can attack you. But really, I stopped focusing on what other people think a while ago."
Perry added that she is no different t her fans and that fame is not something that has changed her as a person. 
"I  want to be as approachable as possible. I'll say, 'Calm down, there's  nothing to cry about'. I'm not going to bite you or attack you or grant  you three wishes. Let's just hang out and have a good time."
Perry was recently accused of glorifying violence in her latest music video.
