 Madonna has claimed the 12th No.1 album of her career with her new release, 'MDNA'. The 'Girl Gone Wild' star pipped David Guetta's 'Nothing But The Beat' to the top spot, as the DJ spent a second week at No.2.
A trio of female UK talent rounded off the Top Five albums, all debut records, with Emeli Sande at No.3 with 'Our Version of Events', Adele at No.4 with 19' and Jessie J rounding of the five with 'Who You Are'.
Meanwhile, on the singles chart, Chris Brown claims his first ever No.1 with his 'Turn Up The Music' single. He knocks last week's No.1, Katy Perry's 'Part Of Me' to No.4. Sean Paul remains at No.2 with 'She Doesn't Mind' and Nicki Minaj climbs to No.3 with 'Starships'. Gotya slides to No.5 with 'Somebody That I Used To Know'. Plan B is also new inside the Top Ten with his 'iLL Manors' single.
