Marcus Mumford has told how impressed he was with the music taste of Samantha Cameron, after the two recently met at The White House.
The band recently performed at The White House for a star-studded event in honour of David and Samantha Cameron's US visit. Samantha made quite a mark on the Mumford & Sons frontman with her musical knowledge.
"She asked me if I'd heard First Aid Kit, who are my new favourite band," The Sun newspaper reports Mumford as saying. "I was like, 'What, sorry, hold on a minute, how do you know about First Aid Kit? You're not supposed to be cool.'"
Mumford also added that he was more starstruck meeting Idris Elba, star of US drama The Wire, than he was meeting Barack Obama.
