Noel Gallagher has denied recent reports that he's planning to join the X Factor as a new judge.
The former Oasis songwriter said he turned down an offer to replace Simon Cowell on the show and has no plans to change his mind in the future as he's too busy.
"It's not what I want to do," the guitarist said in an interview BRMB. "I don't want to be on f**king television. I don't like being on television when I'm playing live. I don't even like being on Jools Holland or any of them programmes.
"I don't like it. It's not for me. So being on TV every week - although it would be undoubtedly brilliant for you to watch it - it would be a waste of my time."
Gallagher added: "Not that I think I'm above it. That's not the kind of thing I want to get involved in. I'm into music."
"The only thing I would consider doing for the BBC is if Russell Brand decides to move back to England and we relaunch the radio show.
"I f*cking loved doing that radio show. But other than that, no, I'm too busy being brilliant. It takes up a lot of my time."
Noel Gallagher has also unveiled the first material from his forthcoming Amorphous Androgynous album.
The singer, who collaborated with the Amorphous Androgynous on the follow-up to his debut album Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, has posted the B-side 'Shoot A Hole Into The Sun' online - you can listen to the track here.
