Members of Foals and Friendly Fires have teamed up to launch a new club night in London.
The night, called Deep Shit, will take place at Plastic People on Curtain Road in Hoxton on February 24.
Featured DJ sets will come from Orlando Higginbottom of Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Jack Savidge of Friendly Fires and Edwin Congreave of Foals.
Deep Shit press release says: "Having ruined the hopes and dreams of thousands of young indie music fans by rocking up to their DJ gigs with a nothing but techno, they've now decided to establish a clear home for themselves here in London - a place for deep, intense party music."
Friendly Fires recently revealed that they will be starting work on their new album in the coming months.
In an interview with 6Music, guitarist Edd Gibson said the band will record the follow-up to 2010's 'Pala' in a log cabin in Sweden.
''I think we are trying to force on an element of the film The Shining, or the book The Shining, as a cultured gentleman who reads and doesn't just watch films… We're trying to alienate ourselves into a world of music alone and see what we come up with.''
