Florence Welch has described her performance on the X Factor last year as one of the most terrifying things she's ever done.
The' singer appeared on the ITV1 show in November 2011 performing their single 'Shake It Out' following the release of second album 'Ceremonials'.
"Just before it went live one of the dancers' dresses got ripped and the stylist had to run on stage as they were counting down to the start," Florence revealed to the Daily Star.
"I had to stay really still and it was one of the most high-pressured things I've ever done.
"I was freaking out inside – it was so frightening. We all talked about how much could go wrong – I'm surprised more doesn't happen with live TV performances."
Meanwhile, Coldplay, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Florence And The Machine were the biggest selling rock acts of 2011, it has been revealed.
According to figures from The Official Charts Company, Coldplay topped the sales for selling the biggest rock single of 2011 with 'Paradise', which sold over 410,000 copies.
