Katy Perry dominated the 2012 People's Choice Awards last night (11th January), despite cancelling her appearance at the event.
The singer was due to attend the awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, but pulled out following her recent split from husband Russell Brand.
She won awards for Favourite Guest TV Star, Favourite Female Artist, Favourite Song Of The Year, Favourite Music Video and Favourite Tour Headliner.
After the bash, Perry thanked her fans over Twitter, writing: "THANK U to every1 who voted for me for the @peopleschoice tonight! We won so many! Now I need to get more books 2 successfully display them!"
Perry who reportedly wanted Brand to file for the divorce is said to currently be writing new material inspired around the split.
The pair began dating shortly after the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2009, which the comedian hosted.
