X Factor champions Little Mix have gone straight to the Number One on the official Singles Chart with their debut 'Cannonball'.

The Official Charts Company reports that, the band's cover of the Damien Rice track has sold over 210,000 copies in its first week.

Former X Factor winner Leona Lewis is at number eight with her cover of the Nine Inch Nails track 'Hurt'.

Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' and 'Fairytale Of New York' by The Pogues are both high climbers in chart, at number 11 and 13.

Elsewhere, on the album chart,  Michael Buble climbed to number one with his festival album  'Christmas'.

Coldplay's 'Mylo Xyloto' is still a non-mover in the top-ten, while Westlife's 'Greatest Hits' collection moved to number nine.
