Selena Gomez is set to propose to boyfriend Justin Bieber, it has been reported.

The singer, who started dating the 17-year-old last year, wants to propose to Bieber following recent claims that her fathered a child with a fan.

According to the US website the National Enquirer, a source revealed: "Selena is crazy about Justin, and she hates seeing him so upset over the paternity allegations."

"He's been on edge thinking Selena might leave him, so she wants to get him a ring to show that she's with him for the long haul. Even Justin's mom Pattie is in on the secret.

As previously reported on Gigwise, Biber receently revealed that he wants to be young dad. "I want to be a young dad. By 25 or 26 I want to see myself, like, married or start looking for a family,'' Bieber told The Sun.
