George Michael is reportedly responding well to treatment after being admitted to hospital with pneumonia.
The singer has been ordered to doctors to stay in hospital in Vienna, Austria after struggling with a chest infection over the past few weeks.
His upcoming two dates at Cardiff, Motorpoint Arena have now been cancelled on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27.
A friend told the Mail Online that he was on the road to recovery: ‘He got ill, it’s very cold in that part of Europe, and then he got pneumonia. He’s responding well to treatment, very good. But he has to rest. He’s got to let this illness run its course.’
Last month George Michael pulled out of one of his three sell-out gigs at London's Royal Albert Hall with a viral infection and a high temperature.
