Noel Gallagher Files Legal Documents In Court Case Against Brother Liam

Noel Gallagher has filed legal documents against his brother Liam over the break-up of Oasis in 2009.

Liam began legal action earlier this year after Noel insinuated that Oasis cancelled their appearance at the V Festival in Chelmsford in 2009 because Liam had a hangover.

Later Noel admitted that Liam did have a doctor's note to prove that he was suffering from laryngitis, which was the official reason given for their cancellation.

According to The Mirror, Noel has hit back and branded Liam as "spiteful and childish" in the legal papers, and also accuses his brother of leaving abusive voicemail messages on his wife Sara’s phone

The court documents also accuse Liam of attacking him 'like an axe' with a guitar.

Liam's spokesperson said: "the matter is now in the hands of lawyers".
