The X Factor boyband have topped the midweek chart with their new single 'Gotta Be You', pushing Rihanna's 'We Found Love' to number two.
Flo Rida enters at number three with 'Good Feeling', while Labrinth is currently at number four with 'Earthquake' and Ed Sheeran is a non mover at five with 'Lego House'.
Elsewhere on the album chart, Snow Patrol are on course to gain their second UK number one album with Fallen Empires.
JLS fall to number two with their third studio album Jukebox, while Michael Buble's festive LP Christmas sits at three.
