Nintendo Announces First Wii U Launch Title

Nintendo have announced that Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge will be amongst the launch titles for their new Wii U console.

The actual release date for the replacement to the Wii remains vague, with Nintendo so far only saying that it will be available between April and December 2012.

Despite this, Andriasang reports that the latest Ninja Gaiden will be released to coincide with the console hitting stores.

First announced at E3 2011, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is a companion to the PS3 version of Ninja Gaiden III, although it isn't currently known how the two versions will differ, especially as the PlayStation version supports motion controls through the PlayStation Move.

It is believed that UK gamers can expect to see the Wii U released in the final quarter of 2012.
