Lawyers for the 20-year-old fan who says Justin Bieber is the father to her baby insisted that they have 'credible evidence' to prove that her claim is 100% true.
As previously reported on Gigwise, reports emerged yesterday (November 2) suggesting that the teen singer, who is currently dating 19-year-old Selana Gomez, is the father of a three-month-old baby.
According to the online website Radaronline.com, 20-year-old Mariah Yeater has filed a lawsuit against the 17-year-old singer asking him to take a paternity test.
Yesterday (November 3) Mariah's lawyers Lance Rogers and Matthew Pare called on Bieber to take a DNA test, reports The Sun.
They said in a statement: "Mariah Yeater is pursuing a modest and rightful claim. There is credible evidence that Justin Bieber is the father of her baby. The evidence will be revealed in court."
The lawyers insisted their client was not seeking "exorbitant compensation". They added: "She merely requests he provide a DNA sample to verify he is the father and, if so, help provide child support."
