The Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced details of two huge outdoor shows, set to take place next Summer in the UK and Ireland.
The band, who released their latest album 'I'm With You' earlier this year, will play Knebworth House on Saturday June 23 as well as Sunderland's Stadium of Light on Sunday, June 24 and Dublin's Croke Park on June 26.
These three shows will be the only opportunity for UK fans to see Red Hot Chili Peppers live in concert in this country next year supporting recent number one album I’m With You.
Speaking about the two shows, frontman Anthony Keidis said: “Our philosophy is we’ll play any day, any time and we’re coming to do Knebworth and Sunderland.”
The show at Knebworth will be the first huge non festival show of its kind held at the park since Robbie Williams’ record-breaking three-night stint eight years ago.
Support acts for the two days will be announced in the coming months.
Tickets for the dates go on sale on Friday (November 4) at 9.30am. . For more details and to buy Red Hot Chili Peppers tickets, check out Gigwise Gig Tickets.
