Teen singer Justin Bieber wants to duet with Cheryl Cole, according to mutual friend Will.i.am.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Bieber revealed he is keen to work with hip-hop protege and Odd Future leader Tyler, The Creator but it seems his sights don't stop there.
“I am very tight with Justin's mentor, Usher, and Cheryl has met him as well. We are like one tight little family and there is a lot of potentially exciting stuff in the pipeline,” Will.i.am told Heat Magazine recently.
Adding: “Justin is a big fan of Cheryl and has been asking Usher if he can set something up with her for over a year now,” added the Black Eyed Peas star.
Bieber and Cheryl do have a little bit of a history, with the young singer calling her “beautiful” when he appeared as a special guest on last year's X Factor.
After being axed from the U.S. version of the show that made her a superstar earlier this year, Will.i.am also revealed that the Girls Aloud singer has a new album due, which will include “the best material she has ever released”.
