The Stone Roses will reunite for two homecoming shows at Manchester's Heaton Park next year.
A press conference has been called in London later this afternoon (October 18) for a ''very important announcement''.
A source at Manchester council has now exclusively told Gigwise that the band will reform for two huge shows at Heaton Park, 15 years after they split in 1996.
Rumours emerged on Friday night (October 14) that the band will reform in their original line-up for a series of date including
Magician Dynamo, a close friend of Brown confirmed the rumours earlier this week, telling The Sun: "He said it's true. It is definitely happening. Ian's on great form. I'll be at the gigs. It's going to be massive."
Gigwise will be at the London press conference at 3pm today and will be brining you up to date news on the rumoured Stone Roses reunion.
