N-Dubz member Dappy was arrested yesterday (October 8) on suspicion of attacking his girlfriend, it has been reported.
The rapper, who released his debut solo single ‘No Regrets’ last month, was held by police after officers were called to the home of his girlfriend Kaye Vassell’s mother in West London.
According to the Daily Mirror police were called when Dappy became violent towards his partner.
He was kept in custody for 12 hours before being released without charge.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed: ‘’Police were called at 8.59am to an ¬address in W6 to reports of a woman assaulted. Officers attended and arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of common assault."
Adding: The 21-year-old victim did not require hospital treatment. No further action will be taken.
Meanwhile, N-Dubz's Dappy recently confirmed that the band is planning to split up in the next couple of years.
