Orlando Bloom has expressed his surprise that he was still able to fit into his Legolas costume, ten years after last wearing it for The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Bloom reprises his role as the Elf warrior in Peter Jackson's retelling of JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit.

He told Collider: "It's crazy, the wig fits. It still fits. It's the same wig, and it still fits. And the costume, it fits. The same costume fits.

"I'm not actually wearing - well I'm not gonna talk about it. I can't tell you anything else."

Bloom's latest film, The Three Musketeers, is released on October 12.

Meanwhile, The Hobbit continues to shoot in New Zeland, with the first part of the saga, An Unexpected Journey, released on December 14, 2012.
