Black Eyed Peas To 'Announce Split' After Dropping Out Of Michael Jackson Tribute Concert

The Black Eyed Peas are planning to announce that they have split up, it has been reported.

According to reports the band will allegedly release a statement to fans announcing their split later this week.

The news follows the announcement made by the band yesterday (October 5) that they have pulled out of the Michael Jackson tribute concert in Cardiff, Wales this weekend due to "unavoidable circumstances".

A source told The Mirror: "Pulling out of this weekend's gig is the final curtain call for them - especially as they're all such huge Jacko fans.

"Things have been taking a turn for the worse over the past few months but this signals the end."

Band member Will .I.Am recently denied claims that Black Eyed Peas have split, following comments made by Kanye West.

Kanye West added to recent speculation that the band had called it a day during his appearance at the Austin City Limits Music Festival. West told the crowd:  "Rest in peace to the Black Eyed Peas. You're gonna be missed."
