Stella McCartney has described working with her father Sir Paul McCartney on his new ballet 'Ocean's Kingdom' has been an “incredible collaboration”.
The former Beatle's daughter has designed the costumes for the ballet, which opened in New York last night (September 22), and it is the first time they have worked together.
“There's two sides to it really,” Stella told BBC News.
“One side is I'm working with my dad for the first time on a really important and amazing project, so you have that emotion of felling very proud and excited about having that opportunity.
“And then there's the other side when you think to yourself, 'I'm working with Sir Paul McCartney'. It's a funny thing.”
Ocean's Kingdom is the first time the former Beatles star has written an original orchestral score for dance.
Sir Paul was joined by a host of celebrities at the opening night, including Sex And The City's Sarah Jessica Parker and Liv Tyler.
