Katy Perry's 'Last Friday Night' Named Song Of The Summer

Katy Perry's 'Last Friday Night' has been named VH1's 'Song of the Summer'.

The track, taken from Perry's 2010 album 'Teenage Dream, beat the likes of Adele, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars.

Adele's 'Rolling In The Deep' came in second place, followed by LMFAO's 'Party Rock Anthem'.

Lady Gaga's 'Edge Of Glory' and Britney Spears' 'I Wanna Go' also made the Top-Ten.

Katy Perry recently sung Happy Birthday to Freddie Mercury on what would have been the Queen frontman's 65th birthday.
