Kanye West and Jay-Z overcame a stage invader as they performed at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in Los Angeles last night (August 28).
The rapper’s were performing their recent Otis Redding-featuring single ‘Otis’ when a person ran across the stage chased by security.
The incident brought back memories of West’s infamous stage invasion during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech in 2009.
Despite the disruption, the pair were able to complete the song, which features on their first full-length album collaboration, ‘Watch The Throne’.

Katy Perry was the big winner at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), taking home three prizes.
The singer’s haul at the ceremony at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles included Video Of The Year for ‘Firework’ and Best Collaboration for the Kanye West-featuring ‘E.T.’.
Lady Gaga won Best Female Video for ‘Born This Way’, while Justin Bieber’s ‘U Smile’ picked up the awards for Best Male Video.
Beyonce created the surprise of the night by announcing that she was pregnant, much to the obvious delight of Jay-Z.
