My Chemical Romance have said they have something to prove when they headline this weekend’s Reading and Leeds festival.
The band, who top the bill in Leeds tomorrow (August 27) and Reading on Sunday (28), were famously bottled off stage last time they performed at Reading in 2006.
"We haven't felt like we've had anything to prove in a long time, so maybe this is the right time to do that,” singer Gerard Way told the Daily Star.
“We're closing a festival where not everyone has approved of us in the past."
Gigwise will be coming live from Reading and Leeds all weekend, so stay tuned for all the latest news, photos, interviews and reviews.
