Kanye West and Lady Gaga are among a consortium of investors who have put money into the website, Turntable.fm, it's been reported.
The website, which is currently only available in the US, allows users to create rooms where they can DJ to each other.
West and Lady Gaga are thought to be part of a $7.5million investment, which has raised Turntable.fm's valuation to $37.5million, according to Business Insider.
Union Square Venture is reported to be the biggest investor in the website.
Turntable.fm only launched in January this year and has proved hugely popular, particulary on social-networking websites.
It was briefly rolled out across the rest of the world earlier this summer, including in the UK, but was withdrawn again amid confusion over whether or not it was legal.
