Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner And Alexa Chung Split

Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner and TV presenter girlfriend Alex Chung have confirmed that they have split, it has been reported.

The couple, who have been dating for four years, are said to have ‘drifted apart’ but still remain friends.

A spokeswoman for Chung told the Sunday Mirror: 'It's completely amicable - but yes it's true. They have split.'

A source told the newspaper: ''Things haven't been going well and they haven't seemed like a couple for the past few weeks.''

''They really wanted to give it a go to hold it together and seemed to be getting back on track - but things got bad again and they both decided enough was enough.''

Arctic Monkeys released their anticipated fourth album ‘Suck It And See’ last month.
