Unseen footage from Michael Jackson's This Is It tour will not be used in the trial against Dr Conrad Murray, it has been announced.
Prosecutors planned to use the rehearsal footage to show the court that Jackson was in good health before he died but a Superior Court Judge ruled that clips will now not be shown at the Los Angeles trial, which is delayed until September 8, reports Associated Press.
On his decision Judge Pastor said: ''There is absolutely nothing in those materials that could have been of assistance to the defense.''
Dr Murray has pleaded not guilty to one charge of involuntary manslaughter.
Murray was working with Jackson has he prepared for his ill-fated comeback gigs in London. He could face four years in prison if found guilty.
