Paul Weller Announces New Single 'Starlite' - Listen

Paul Weller has announced details of a surprise new single, entitled 'Starlite' – and you can hear it below on Gigwise now.

The former Jam frontman said the song, released on August 7, would not feature on his next album.

"Here's a brand new track called 'Starlite' in time for the Summer. It's not from the forthcoming album, it's just for now,” he said. “It's part Balearic beat, poetry and psychedelic music.”

'Starlite' will also feature several remixes, from Drop Out Orchestra, DJ Pulse and Black Van. It will be available on iTunes.

Weller's last album 'Wake Up The Nation' was released in 2010.
