David Bowie has denied reports that he appears on Jay Electroncia's forthcoming album.
Earlier this week, the musician teased the collaboration as he revealed plans for the album on Twitter.
“What if I told you we even got David Bowie singing bg vox on a record?” he said.
But Bowie has denied the reports in a message on his official website.
“Following reports of tweets suggesting a vocal contribution yesterday, we can tell you that David Bowie is not singing on the new album by Jay Electronica,” a statement said.
In his Twitter posts, Electronica said the album would “come soon”.
