Pete Doherty played his first gig since leaving prison in London today (July 9).
The singer, who was released from jail earlier this week, performed to a crowd of 200 fans during the matinee show at the Blues Kitchen in Camden.
Doherty’s set mixed solo material with tracks by his bands Babyshambles and The Libertines.
From the latter group Doherty performed ‘Don’t Look Back Into The Sun’, ‘Time For Heroes’ and ‘Can’t Stand Me Now’.
Many fans had been turned away from the venue after tickets were sold on a first come, first served basis.
Doherty was released from prison on July 5 just over two months into a sixth month sentence for cocaine possession.
