Eminem has become the first US artist to sell over one million downloads with his 2010 album 'Recovery'.
The rapper has sold a total of 1,001,000 copies of the album, according to figures from Nielsen SoundScan.
Adele is also set to hit the one million mark with her album '21', which would make her the first UK artist to sell one million downloads in the US, reports Billboard.
According to the Official Charts Company '21' has now sold more copies than any other album in the UK charts in 2011 so far.
Meanwhile, the producer of Eminem's 'Space Bound', which has attracted controversy, has compared the video to Alanis Morissette's 'Ironic'.
