U2 frontman Bono has promised that music fans will see “Bono 2.0” at this weekend's Glastonbury Festival.
The band are due to headline the bash a year after they pulled out of the event so the singer could undergo an emergency operation on his back in Munich.
In a video message ahead of their appearance on Friday (June 24), Bono said: "Were I to pull down my pants I have 'Made In Germany' stamped on my ass.
"So - Bono 2.0. Through the wonders of science I'm not just fixed, I'm better."
He also admitted that if the operation had not been a success things could be “very different” for him.
Coldplay and Beyonce will also top the bill over the weekend, with a host of other huge names due to appear.
