Lady Gaga's new album 'Born This Way' has been banned in Lebanon.
Thousands of copies of the album were shipped to the Middle Eastern country, but authorities have deemed it “offensive to Christianity”.
The General Secretary Department said the albums were impounded on grounds of taste, reports The Christian Post.
Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' has topped the album charts in 21 countries, but has come under fire from religious groups over its content.
Last month, the singer's latest single 'Judas' – and its accompanying video – were accused of being blasphemous and branded a publicity stunt.
